Before you enter this web site, please read my bio. We all approach especially controversial subjects with our life experiences, education, and culture. I get frustrated when reading other author’s articles about the church, faith, Bible, doctrine, & theology when I don’t know the author nor his/her background. Therefore, I’m including on this web site, a short history of my background, education, and experiences in the church. This is not to boast or brag or impress you – it won’t. But, just so you know where I’m coming from. You will see I’m pretty mainstream – Reformed in doctrine and conservatively Presbyterian in practice. I hope it will give you a better perspective when reading my thoughts and ideas on this web site.
Even more importantly – I will quote a lot of Scripture which I believe is God’s perfect Word – but, my interpretation is NOT perfect. Please don’t take what I write as truth – until you ponder it, pray about it, and study the Scriptures for yourself. I may be wrong. I would appreciate hearing from you – whether you agree with me or not – if you are willing to seriously consider what the Scripture has to say on Worship. If you can show where I’ve come to the wrong conclusion or haven’t considered other Scriptures on the subject, I will be more than willing to change my thinking – and what appears on this website.
